IDNV for publishers
Publishing houses participating in the IDNV profit from a wide range of services.
Annual fees are assessed according to size, i.e. concerning the company´s turnover. On a scale of 25 different turnover
classes, any type of publishing house - from small independent or specialized periodical publishing houses to major
corporations - is taken into consideration. In addition, we have a special offer with a special price for smaller publishers
that still includes editorial services.

Services for participants
What does the IDNV have to offer?
The IDNV offers high class databases, editorial services, technology (software), infrastructure and marketing services.
Below is a list of some of the services offered to participating publishers.
Please note that performance essentially depends on a participant´s turnover class.
Errors and omissions excepted.
1. Directory
- Registration / change of current contact information
- Registration of terms of delivery (for IDNV electronic ordering system)
2. Catalogue, data preparation and maintenance
- Free re-registration, no registration fees for new titles (within turnover class)
- Free unlimited change of catalogue entries and prices, no alteration fees (within turnover class)
- Access to IDNV "master" software for maintenance and registration of own catalogues (features according to turnover class)
3. Catalogue distribution, publication services
- Regular publication for retailers (later "online support" for retailers)
- Notification of libraries (international), official bibliography
- Data circulation for future projects in planning stage (especially English / international IDNV version,
edition for individual customers (musicians, choirmasters, conductors etc.), circulation in internet catalogues
4. IDNV ordering system
- The ordering system is always included in a publisher´s membership.
- Access to IDNV "sales" software for receiving and processing incoming orders (e.g. print-out or forwarding to in-house systems...)
5. IDNV data services
- Transfer of current reference material to IDNV "master" (facilitating data maintenance)
- Subscription to latest IDNV central catalogue included (turnover class 19, medium, and above)
- Authorization(s) for in-house use of central catalogue (depending on turnover class)
6. Technical support
- Latest software, updates without additional costs (exception: possible flat rates if choosing delivery per medium)
- Support in case of technical problems (exception: mere operating difficulties as our programs include extensive
online support; training courses can be arranged)
- Access to protected support areas
7. Editorial infrastructure, IDNV main editorial services
- Publication and maintenance of IDNV editorial standards
- Editorial support in case of doubt and problems
- Examination of entries, editorial support and suggestions for improvement if necessary
- General maintenance of collective data, improvement, standardization
- Reference list maintenance, data structure development
8. IDNV technical infrastructure
- Installation and utilisation of IDNV server systems (data gathering, reception)
- Access to technical infrastructure
