Innovations in the IDNV 2.0:

Images for the items:
With the new version 2.0, the IDNV can display images for the items. From now on, publishers have the possibility to add cover images, several page examples, and trial copies in PDF format to each item in the IDNV. In the IDNV-Order the images can be viewed to some extend in the list, and in particular in the item window. Moreover, the new IDNV-Order contains a separate media database, in which all images existing in the IDNV can be found.
The cover images for the items are displayed in the the list by default. The images' display size can be flexibly changed with the column width. Via the quick access in the list, other existing media and page examples belonging to the item can be called up with just one mouse click.

Descriptive texts and promotional material:
In addition to the images, there are also descriptive texts and promotional material available in the IDNV 2.0. With the new database for descriptive texts and promotional material, you can, for example, call up information on new editions or short descriptions of the items. As all other information, that too, is provided by the publishers themselves.

The IDNV as a price reference database:
The new IDNV 2.0 contains the technical and structural basis in order to function as the official reference database for prices. Corresponding data fields were integrated in the data structure of the IDNV. From now on, it will be evident whether the prices indicated are fixed prices conforming to the law of fixed book prices. Furthermore, publishers also have the possibility of announcing price changes in advance in the price database.

New functions and improvements:
In detail, you will discover new functions and improvements in your daily work such as soft-scrolling, Visual Styles support on XP, Vista, and Windows 7 etc.
